I purchased my Barska Quick Access Biometric Rifle safe was back on 12/5/15 at which time everything seemed fine. Since then, I’ve only opened the safe about 5 times total.

On the 5th time (2/4/17) I opened the safe, the door completely separated from the safe. Upon further inspection, the welds on the hinge completely broken off. The hinge was only held in place by 2 small tack weld (really?). At this point I am 2 months out from the 1 year warranty, but seeing that this a Major Defect, I attempted to contact Barska (who takes pride in committed to delivering a superior quality product) in hopes they would try to make it right and keep a satisfied customer.

I was wrong, even after customer service admitting to me that this was a major defect, they still refused to honor the warranty. I can definitely say, I will no longer be purchasing future Barska products based on my experience

Reason of review: Bad quality.

Monetary Loss: $200.

Preferred solution: Exchange replacement with no additonal expense (i.e. shipping cost).
